We're looking for an experienced Business Services Senior Manager with the ambition and capability to become a future partner of the firm. If you're ready to take ownership, maintain already strong client relationships and play a meaningful role in the continued success of our firm, we'd love to hear from you. At a minimum you possess:
- Membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or CPA Australia
- A minimum of 7 years experience in Public Practice
- Robust technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax legislation
- Proficiency with cloud-based accounting platforms, particularly MYOB and Xero
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly
- Genuine interest or background in a rural lifestyle environment
The Position
Working in public practice is exciting, rewarding and forever changing due to exposure to a wide variety of clients, industries, technology and varying client needs and reporting requirements.
You will take on immediate responsibilities and have exposure to:
- Direct client contact
- Prepare, review and finalise financial reports and income tax returns
- Assist with tax planning and compliance matters,
including Business Activity Statements and related tax obligations
- Working independently and as part of an experienced team
- Working directly with Partners
