An exciting full-time, permanent opportunity is now available for an experienced Automotive Technician to join the Service team at Porsche Centre Doncaster, part of the Penske Automotive Australia group.

As a Technician, you will play a key role in delivering the exceptional standards synonymous with the Porsche brand. Working within a premium dealership environment, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing Porsche vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards, while ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop in optimal condition.

In this role, you will:

- Inspect, diagnose, service and repair Porsche vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical and technical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.
- Replace worn, damaged or defective components and complete engine and non-engine related repairs as required.
- Carry out vehicle inspections, component adjustments, measurements and testing to ensure vehicles meet required standards.
- Install genuine parts and accessories as required.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) in accordance with Porsche checklists and systems.
- Complete Roadworthy Certificates (RWC) where required.
- Accurately complete job cards, documenting work performed, parts required, recommendations and any additional work identified.
- Ensure all repair orders and job lines are accurately recorded, including time, oils, lubricants and sundries used.




- Communicate additional repair requirements and recommendations to the Workshop Controller, Service Manager and/or Service Advisor.
- Complete warranty repairs in accordance with Porsche and dealership warranty policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, safety and workshop presentation.
- Stay up to date with Porsche technical training, technical service bulletins, products and repair procedures.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork and technical excellence.

About You:

- Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Automotive Technology or a relevant technical discipline.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably within a premium or luxury automotive environment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic knowledge.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to fault finding.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work to the highest standard.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to work efficiently within workshop timeframes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Service Advisors, Workshop Controllers and the wider dealership team.
- Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence.
- A proactive approach to learning, professional development and keeping up with the latest automotive technology.
