Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the resources and logistics sector at Abbot Point. With a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and teamwork, they are seeking a reliable Warehouse Officer to join their team. This chance has arisen due to an internal secondment and is expected to run for approximately 12 months on a month-to-month engagement basis.

Your new role
As a Warehouse Officer, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory management, receipting and dispatch activities, stock control, and maintaining accurate records within warehouse management systems. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will play a key role in ensuring materials and equipment are efficiently managed while maintaining high safety standards across the site. This position operates on a lifestyle roster consisting of 12-hour shifts on a 4-5-4-5-4 pattern and is available for an immediate start.

What you'll need to succeed

- Current Forklift Licence
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
- Exposure to SAP or similar warehouse management/inventory systems preferred




- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Proven ability to work within a safety-focused environment
- Previous mining, ports, heavy industrial, or resources industry exposure
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working autonomously
- Positive attitude and strong team-focused approach
- Must be based in Bowen or able to provide your own accommodation
- Available to commence ASAP
