About the role
To contribute to water, sewerage and gas maintenance, construction, and compliance activities to ensure the provision of a safe, reliable and sustainable utilities network for the community and Council infrastructure and facilities. A great chance to advance your career with additional training on offer!

What we're looking for include;

- Certificate III in Plumbing

- General Construction Induction (White) Card

- Current C (Car) Class Driver Licence

- Current National Criminal History Check,



or willingness to obtain

- Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing

Able to complete the following within 12 months of commencement the following;

Council Verification of Skill Level to Competently Operate a Backhoe* (In-house

assessment)

▪ Apply First Aid and Provide CPR*

▪ Operate Breathing Apparatus – Open & Closed circuits*

▪ Liquefied Chlorine Gas Training*

▪ Working at Heights*

▪ Working in Confined Spaces*

▪ Authorised Person & Local Government Worker Training*

▪ Tetanus & Twinrix (hepatitis A & hepatitis B) Vaccine*
