Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for a Timber Carpentry Apprentice to work with our valued Host Employer in Gawler. This is a full time position and may involve weekend work as required.

As part of this opportunity, you will undertake a Certificate III in Carpentry, developing practical skills and experience in timber carpentry while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

The role will involve general timber carpentry duties, as well as working with prefabricated timber structures across residential and commercial projects. You may learn to:

- Install roof trusses, wall frames, floor trusses and cassettes as part of prefabricated timber structures.
- Construct, erect and install timber structures and frames across residential and commercial projects.
- Measure, cut and assemble timber materials using a range of hand and power tools.
- Install doors, windows,



flooring and other timber fixtures, as well as carry out general finishing and repair work.
- Read and interpret plans and drawings while following protected work practices.

Position Requirements

- Hold a current driver's licence.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a White Card.
- Have a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Be punctual and have a great work ethic.
- Be able to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical, inclusive of drug and alcohol testing.
