Are you an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships across a business? We are looking for a HR Advisor to join a well-established, highly reputable South Australian healthcare organisation and play a key role in supporting leaders and employees through a period of exciting transformation.
You'll be a trusted first point of contact for HR advice and support while contributing to a range of people initiatives.
About the Role
Reporting into the Head of People Services, you will provide practical HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, probation reviews, employment documentation, and workforce support.
Working closely with operational leaders, you'll help drive accountability, provide clear guidance on people matters, and build strong stakeholder relationships in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from managers and employees.
- Prepare employment contracts, contract variations, and other employee documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and support the recruitment process.
- Provide advice and guidance on performance management, probation reviews, and employee relations matters.
- Coach leaders to effectively manage people issues while maintaining appropriate boundaries and accountability.
- Support workforce changes and organisational initiatives during a period of significant transformation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Assist with implementation of HR systems and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with relevant awards, policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Coordinator, or similar generalist HR role.
- Confidence influencing and coaching leaders at varying levels of the organisation.
- Strong employee relations and performance management experience.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build credibility and rapport with all stakeholders
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience within healthcare or other complex service-based industries will be highly regarded but is not essential.
