The Role

We are looking for an energetic, well-presented and customer-focused Concierge and Valet Attendant to join our team at Macquarie Centre in North Ryde.

This is a unique and exciting role where no two days are the same. You will play an important part in creating a premium and welcoming experience for customers, acting as a key point of contact while also providing professional valet services.

As one of the first faces customers see, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional service, providing helpful information and assistance, and ensuring every interaction leaves a positive and lasting impression.

You will also assist with the valet service, including welcoming customers on arrival, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, managing vehicle keys in accordance with procedures and ensuring the valet area operates smoothly, safely and efficiently.

We’re looking for someone who is a natural people person, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering service that consistently exceeds expectations.

This role is based at Macquarie Centre, North Ryde.

This position is paid in accordance with the General Retail Industry Award 2020.

What You'll Be Doing

- Deliver a warm, professional and welcoming experience to every customer




- Meet and greet customers and assist with enquiries, directions and general information
- Anticipate customer needs and go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service
- Respond professionally to customer enquiries, requests and concerns
- Build positive relationships with customers, retailers, centre management and other stakeholders
- Provide skilled valet services, including receiving, parking and retrieving customer vehicles
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles in accordance with company procedures and road safety requirements
- Manage vehicle keys and customer vehicles securely and responsibly
- Assist with maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the valet area
- Maintain exceptional presentation and ensure the concierge and valet areas are welcoming and professional
- Work collaboratively with the wider onsite team to deliver an outstanding customer experience

Role Requirements

- A current full, unrestricted Australian driver licence is essential
- Impeccable presentation and professional grooming
- Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping people
- A positive, enthusiastic and approachable personality
- Confidence driving and manoeuvring a variety of vehicles safely
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to remain calm, professional and composed in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
- The ability to build meaningful relationships and create lasting positive impressions




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and availability to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, hotels, concierge, valet or a similar customer-facing role is highly regarded
- A strong commitment to safe working practices
- Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Must have valid work rights in Australia
