Safe Pool Solutions is a leading rental equipment provider within the swimming pool construction industry. We supply specialised equipment to house builders, pool builders and contractors across QLD, NSW and VIC.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a friendly, organised, technically minded and adaptable person to join our team.
This is a full-time, office-based position located at our Head Office in Clontarf, supporting our Operations Team and Field Technicians.
The role is varied and combines technical administration, quantity takeoffs, quotation support, job planning and general operational coordination. You will be required to review drawings and job information, assist with pricing and takeoffs, prepare technical job sheets and communicate with both internal teams and key stakeholders.
Full training will be provided directly by the Director to the right candidate. We are looking for someone with a practical mindset, strong attention to detail and the ability to think logically and work through problems.
This role would suit someone who enjoys problem solving, working with technical information, keeping organised and being part of a growing business.
Working Hours
This is a full time Monday to Friday position, based at our Brisbane Head Office.
We offer flexible working arrangements for the right candidate, with start and finish times able to be discussed and agreed based on operational requirements and team needs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Reviewing quotation requests and assisting with pricing and technical information
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans
- Completing quantity takeoffs and measuring quantities from drawings
- Assisting the internal quoting team with accurate job information
- Preparing technical job sheets and documentation for Field Technicians
- Assisting Field Technicians with job planning
- Reviewing upcoming jobs and ensuring the required information is available
- Following up and reviewing jobs within our CRM and operational systems
- Assisting with scheduling and operational coordination as required
- Providing general support to the Operations Team
- Participating in weekly job planning meetings
- Ensuring company policies, procedures and processes are followed
- Participating in monthly operational planning and business growth meetings
- Communicating professionally with customers, builders, contractors, suppliers and other key stakeholders
- Identifying issues and using rational and practical thinking to work through solutions
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is technically minded, organised and able to think logically.
You will ideally have:
- The ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Experience or an aptitude for quantity takeoffs and measuring from plans
- Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A practical and rational approach to problem solving
- The ability to understand information, assess situations and make sensible decisions
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
- A willingness to learn new systems, processes and technical information
- A reliable and accountable approach to your work
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a close team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A professional and confident manner when dealing with key stakeholders, customers, builders and contractors
- A flexible attitude and willingness to assist wherever required
Desirable, but Not Essential
- Previous experience in the construction, building or engineering industry
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drawing software
- Experience with estimating, quoting or quantity takeoffs
- A technical, engineering, drafting or construction-related background
- Experience using CRM, job management or scheduling software
- AutoCAD experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided to the right person.
Training & Development
You do not need to know everything from day one.
Full training will be provided directly by the Director, including our products, systems, processes and operational requirements.

We're not necessarily looking for someone who has done this exact job before.
We're looking for someone who can look at a drawing, understand what they are looking at, work out the quantities, use Excel to put the information together, identify problems and think through a practical solution.
