We're currently currently partnering with a well-established construction business seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join its growing Adelaide team.

With a strong pipeline of commercial projects across sectors including education, aged care, residential, and community infrastructure, this opportunity will suit a commercially astute construction professional looking to play a key role in project delivery and business success.

About the role:

Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial and contractual aspects of multiple projects, ensuring risk is effectively managed while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing head contracts and subcontract agreements
- Contract administration and commercial management across project lifecycles
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating contractual risks
- Reviewing variations, claims, extensions of time, and disputes
- Supporting project teams with commercial guidance and contract interpretation
- Negotiating contract terms with subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitoring project financial performance and compliance obligations
- Ensuring accurate reporting and documentation throughout project delivery

Skills and Experience:

- Proven experience as a Contract Manager, Commercial Manager, Senior Contract Administrator, or similar role within construction




- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and contract administration practices
- Experience managing commercial risks across medium to large-scale projects
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Ability to work collaboratively with project and leadership teams
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline
