About the Role
As a Product Manager at Urban Rest, you'll take ownership of our internal systems - integrated systems and web-based tools - that power seamless guest and team experiences. Working closely with the Director of Technology and stakeholders across the business, you'll play a key role in shaping and executing a product roadmap that aligns with our broader business objectives and supports how we scale. This role goes beyond internal tooling - you’ll help design the future of hospitality. Urban Rest is rethinking the traditional hotel model, and you’ll be at the centre of that transformation. From booking to check-out, you’ll help shape the end-to-end guest journey across our fully digital,
reception-less experience - no front desk, no queues, and no compromises.
It’s a hands-on position that blends product thinking with delivery execution. You’ll work directly with the business to understand and define requirements, translate them into clear and actionable user stories, and support the development process from planning through to release. You're someone who’s comfortable in the detail, brings structure to complexity, and is energised by improving the tools that underpin daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather, define and prioritise product requirements across our integrated systems and web-based platforms.
- Translate business needs into clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria to support efficient and effective development.
- Contribute to product strategy by identifying opportunities for system and process improvements that drive guest satisfaction and team productivity.
- Define success metrics for key initiatives, ensuring solutions are evaluated against business outcomes and user impact.
- Support delivery by coordinating cross-functional input, validating solutions, and contributing to change management and rollout planning.
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal systems, helping to ensure tools are embedded effectively and meet the evolving needs of the business.
What We Look For
We’re looking for a product thinker who’s just as comfortable in the detail as they are aligning with big-picture goals - someone who thrives in a rapid-moving environment and is passionate about solving real business problems.
Essential
- 3–5 years’ experience in a product management role, ideally within a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
- Proven hands-on experience working with integrated systems and APIs - confident navigating, configuring, and supporting product development on the platform.

- Experience contributing to product roadmaps that align with strategic business goals - able to balance competing priorities and deliver high-impact outcomes.
- Confident tracking product performance, understanding key drivers, and adapting approaches based on insight and feedback.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills - able to build trust, close feedback loops and support successful adoption through collaborative change management.
Desirable
- Experience within the accommodation sector.
- A natural collaborator who builds strong relationships and communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.
- A structured thinker who brings clarity to ambiguity and isn’t afraid to dive into systems and workflows.
- Curious, pragmatic and delivery-focused - always looking for better ways to do things, and grounded in delivering tangible value.
- Someone with a strong affinity for technology - comfortable navigating complex systems, asking the right questions, and bridging the gap between business needs and technical possibilities.
- Someone who takes ownership, follows through, and helps drive change with empathy and purpose.
