What You’ll Do:

- Coordinate and deliver community awareness and public safety education programs across the Brisbane region.
- Develop strong relationships with schools, community organisations, volunteers, and key stakeholders.
- Lead and support Community Awareness Presenters to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on program outcomes, participation, and impact.
- Maintain accurate records, schedules, resources, and operational reporting.
- Ensure all activities comply with organisational policies, risk management requirements, and child safeguarding standards.
- Contribute to program improvements, strategic initiatives, and funding opportunities.
- Promote inclusive and respectful practices aligned with SLSQ's values.

About You:

- Current Working with Children Blue Card or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
- Current Queensland Driver Licence.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience engaging with diverse community groups and stakeholders.




- Solid organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Experience coordinating programs, projects, events, or community-based initiatives.
- Strong administration and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage, train, and motivate casual staff to deliver programs effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience within surf lifesaving, education, emergency services, community engagement, youth programs, or public safety initiatives.
- Knowledge of community education, water safety, or public awareness programs.
- Current Bronze Medallion and Surf Life Saving membership or the ability to obtain within an agreed timeframe (and maintain ongoing proficiency).
- Availability to be on call to deliver programs in summer peak times.
