Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring that safety standards are met in applicable areas and projects stay on schedule and within budget.
As construction progresses at Mardie, we are continuing to shape our team. We are looking for an individual who is ready to be a part of this exciting operation, where you will have the opportunity to really make an immediate impact.

We are rapidly progressing the Mardie Salt Operation and Potash Project (Mardie Operation), a tier 1 solar evaporation project that will supply high-purity industrial salt and sulphate of potash (SOP) for more than 60 years.
Mardie will be the largest salt operation in Australia and the third largest globally. With first salt on ship on track to be achieved early 2027, BCI Minerals is just at the beginning of its journey to become a key player in a multitude of globally significant sustainable opportunities.

The Role
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating construction activities and resolving any interface issues that may arise.
- Overseeing electrical statutory compliance, including site isolations and permitting.
- Working closely with contractors to verify that all construction work aligns with project engineering and quality system requirements.
- Ongoing commitment to health, safety, and the environment will be paramount,
ensuring that our company's systems and procedures are implemented effectively on the project site.
About You
- 7 years+ experience in the electrical field including a minimum of 3-5 years' working on processing plants with preventative maintenance programs and systems.
- Experienced in PLC application, programming, and operations.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawing and fault-finding control circuits.
- Experienced in reviewing and managing budgets including cash flow management.
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and planning skills.
- Ability to work in a complex team environment.
- Knowledge of safety and environment management systems.
To be successful in this role, you will hold an Electrical Trade Certificate, Electrical License, High Volage Switching Qualification, Statutory Supervisor (S26) Qualification.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a national police clearance dated within the last six months and and must hold a current WA White Card.
You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
