The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Security Technician to join our Sydney team, delivering installation, service and commissioning work across Greater Sydney and broader New South Wales.

You’ll work alongside experienced technicians and Project Managers on large-scale CCTV and access control systems using platforms such as Genetec, Gallagher, Integriti, Milestone and Geutebrück.

This is a hands-on role offering varied work, technical development and exposure to some of the security industry’s most advanced technologies and high-profile sites.

What You’ll Do

- Install, service and commission integrated CCTV and access control systems

- Diagnose faults and complete preventative and corrective maintenance

- Support major electronic security projects across Sydney and Current South Wales

- Work across commercial, government, logistics and critical infrastructure sites

- Read plans, technical documentation and system designs

- Complete testing, commissioning and project documentation to a high standard

- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, technicians, subcontractors and clients





- Maintain Fortis Security’s standards for quality, safety and customer service

- Continue developing your technical skills through structured training and certification pathways

What You’ll Bring

- Current and valid NSW Security Licence – Class 2C Security Equipment Specialist

- Current and valid Australian Driver’s Licence

- Demonstrated experience as a Security Technician

- Experience with CCTV, access control and integrated security systems

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Ability to read plans, follow technical directions and deliver high-quality work

- Strong customer service, communication and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a project team

- A professional attitude and commitment to safety and quality

- Full and permanent Australian working rights

Experience with Genetec, Gallagher, Integriti, Milestone or Geutebrück will be highly regarded.
