East Coast Car Rentals has been putting Australians on the road since 1979.

We operate a national fleet across 14 locations, and our commercial team at Southport is where the pricing, yield and performance decisions for the whole network get made.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Assistant Pricing & Revenue Analyst to join the team, working alongside our Senior Revenue Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who wants to build a career in pricing, revenue management and commercial analysis. You'll learn directly from an experienced revenue professional in a business where the work you produce has a real impact on decision making.

What you'll do

- Acquire, validate and cleanse data from our reservations, fleet and related business systems, maintaining the integrity of underlying datasets

- Monitor utilisation, yield and pricing performance across all branches and vehicle categories

- Identify market opportunities, maintain planning calendars and support pricing strategies during peak and high-demand periods

- Load and maintain pricing and inventory data across our rental and subscription platforms

- Work with branch managers to manage vehicle availability and pricing across different market segments

- Set up and maintain travel agent, wholesaler and corporate customer accounts

- Support the sales team with promotional campaigns, pricing updates and product setup

- Build and maintain dashboards, reports and automated performance tracking for branches, channels and fleet operations

- Assist in identifying growth opportunities across wholesale, travel agency, affiliate and online travel agency (OTA) channels

- Prepare reporting and analysis for management to support commercial decision making

What you'll bring





- At least one year's experience working with data in an analytical, reporting or commercial role, or a relevant tertiary qualification

- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

- The ability to communicate findings and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

- Robust organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn new systems and analytical tools

- Full working rights in Australia

Nice to have

- A degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline

- Experience using SQL for data extraction and querying

- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau or similar dashboarding and reporting tools

- Experience in a high-volume, perishable-inventory industry such as car rental, travel, tourism, transport, logistics or hospitality

- Exposure to revenue management, pricing or commercial analytics environments
