About the role
As an Azure Engineer (Endpoint & Cloud) (12M Max Term Contract), you will play a key role in managing and evolving CBUS' modern endpoint environment across Windows and macOS platforms. This position has a strong focus on endpoint engineering, including Microsoft Intune, SCCM, endpoint security, patching, application management and vulnerability remediation, ensuring our devices remain secure, compliant and reliable for our people. Alongside endpoint management, you will support Azure, Microsoft 365 and core infrastructure services within our cloud-first technology environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you will partner with Cyber Security, Service Delivery and Technology teams to improve endpoint health, strengthen security outcomes and enhance the employee experience. Your work will directly contribute to protecting and modernising CBUS' technology estate through automation, continuous improvement and the adoption of up-to-date management practices, while also supporting broader cloud and infrastructure initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

- Manage and support Microsoft Intune, SCCM, endpoint security, patching and device compliance across Windows and macOS environments.
- Support Azure, Entra ID, Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 services while contributing to cloud infrastructure initiatives.
- Drive endpoint vulnerability management activities, working with Cyber Security and technology teams to prioritise and remediate risks.




- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Bash and infrastructure-as-code principles to improve operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation while mentoring support teams and delivering excellent customer-focused technical support.

What will you bring?

- Strong experience managing enterprise endpoint environments using Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Group Policy and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Proven experience supporting Azure infrastructure, Entra ID, Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 services.
- Hands-on expertise with enterprise patching, endpoint vulnerability management and security remediation practices.
- Advanced scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, with experience in Bash and/or Python highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.
