This is a full-time qualified carpenter position based in Geelong & surrounds. The role involves completing renovations, insurance repairs and managing all aspects of construction work.
Key responsibilities
- Project management, supervising & coordinating trades, including apprentices.
- Completing jobs, which includes written & oral communication as required
- Completing day to day works, in relation to renovations, insurance repairs and all relative construction work
- Attending & completing make-secure/reports, building assessment/reports and roof reports
- Use and management of Prime project management program
- Update all involved parties of the progress of the project, including customer concerns, problems, delays etc
- Networking with potential clients and sourcing new work
- Assessing & estimating new jobs where required
- Complete file management, weekly updates, and communication for running jobs
- Read & interpret plans and processes
