Production 2IC

About the Role

Manufacturing facility based in Huntingwood (NSW2148), seeking a reliable and hands-on Production 2IC (Second-in-Charge) to join our manufacturing team in Huntingwood.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production 2IC will assist with the day-to-day coordination of production activities, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and workplace procedures are consistently met.

This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing or production experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist the Production Manager with daily production planning, scheduling, and team coordination.

· Supervise, allocate tasks, train, and support production staff while monitoring workflow.

· Oversee mixing, batching, packing, labelling, and general production to meet quality standards and deadlines.

· Monitor raw materials, packaging, stock levels, and production records.

· Identify and report production, equipment, and quality issues, taking initiative to resolve problems.

· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workplace and promote Work Health and Safety procedures.





· Take responsibility for production operations in the Production Manager’s absence

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

· Manufacturing/production experience, with supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

· Valid Forklift Licence required.

· Hands-on, reliable, and physically capable of production and manual handling duties.

· Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.

· Able to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality, safety, and workplace procedures.

· Strong problem-solving skills and initiative in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace.
