What You'll Be Doing

As an Experienced Painter at Smith&Co; Group, you'll work across Gold Coast's high-end commercial construction projects.

You'll be responsible for:

- Delivering high-quality finishes across commercial projects.

- Brushing, rolling and spray painting.

- Surface preparation, patching, sanding and repairs.

- Applying coatings accurately and consistently.

- Following project specifications, colours and finish requirements.

- Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe.

- Working efficiently and meeting project deadlines.

- Following company and site processes to maintain quality and consistency.

- Identifying issues early and communicating them with your supervisor.

- Working as part of a team while taking ownership of your own work.

Experience & Requirements

- 3–5+ years of proven painting experience for experienced painter positions.

- Commercial construction experience highly regarded.

- Trade qualification or significant proven industry experience.

- Construction White Card – mandatory.

- Spray painting experience highly regarded.

- Australian work rights:

- Visa sponsorship may be available for suitable experienced candidates, depending on skills, experience and eligibility.
