Support, Communications & Events Coordinator

We're looking for an energetic and highly organised Support, Communications & Events Coordinator to join our Resource & Industrials leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced coordinator, executive assistant or communications professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys balancing executive support, internal communications and event coordination.
Working closely with senior leaders, you'll play a key role in helping drive employee engagement, customer connections and leadership effectiveness across the business.
About the Role
Reporting to the President, Resource & Industrials, you'll provide high-level administrative, communications and event management support to the leadership team.
No two days will be the same. You'll coordinate executive activities, support communication initiatives, organise events and help create engaging experiences for employees and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee and customer communications programs
- Support leadership engagement initiatives and executive communications
- Assist with planning and delivering customer and employee events
- Manage calendars, meetings and leadership schedules
- Prepare presentations, reports, correspondence and business documents
- Organise travel arrangements and expense management
- Record meeting minutes and follow up action items
- Support executive social media activities and engagement plans
- Build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation
- Provide administrative support to senior leaders and executive assistants as required
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and engagement outcomes
About You
You're a proactive and skilled coordinator who enjoys taking ownership,
finding solutions and making things happen.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams
- Experience in communications, marketing, events or executive support roles
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills
- Solid written and verbal communication capabilities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills
- A positive, team‑focused approach and strong customer service mindset
- Sound judgement, discretion and the ability to handle confidential information
- A self‑starter attitude with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
