As one of our largest branches in Victoria, Richmond is a fast-paced, high-profile operation with a strong customer base, experienced team and genuine opportunity to make an impact. This is a hands‐on leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing people leadership, customer service, sales and operational excellence.

Best of all, this role offers Monday to Friday hours — no weekend work.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day success of the branch by:

n

- Supporting the Branch Manager to lead, coach and develop a high-performing team
n
- Driving a customer-first culture and ensuring consistently exceptional service
n
- Building strong relationships with trade, contractor and commercial customers
n
- Supporting branch sales growth, profitability and key performance outcomes
n
- Overseeing daily branch operations, including inventory, compliance, safety and presentation
n
- Leading by example on the counter, in the warehouse and with customers
n
- Stepping up to manage the branch in the Branch Manager's absence
n

Qualifications

n





You are an engaging and capable leader who thrives in a busy branch environment. You may already be an Assistant Manager, a senior team member ready for the next step, or an experienced in internal sales or branch operations with natural leadership capability.

Ideally, You Will Bring

n

n
- Previous experience in electrical wholesale, trade, industrial supply, hardware or a similar customer-focused environment
n
- Leadership experience, or a clear track record of coaching and influencing others
n
- Strong commercial awareness and a drive to achieve sales and operational targets
n
- Excellent customer relationship and communication skills
n
- A hands‐on approach, with the ability to support both customers and team members when it matters most
n
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
n
