Manufacturing Assemblers needed for a fast paced and growing manufacturing company located in Mascot, TN. Starting pay range is $15.50 to $18.35 per hour. Shift hours are 5:00 AM until 1:30 PM, with occasional overtime available.
Job Description
Manufacturing staff disassemble, recondition, remanufacture, and reassemble used rail bearings and also assemble current rail bearings.
Dress Code
- Short sleeve shirt, pants (or shorts in some departments), safety glasses, and safety shoes (steel or composite)
Essential Duties
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain concentration throughout the shift to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Read and transcribe numbers from a screen to paper accurately.
- Maintain awareness of daily production quotas and work to achieve them.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong concentration and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reading and transcribing numerical data.
- Awareness of and commitment to meeting daily production goals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production setting.
