This is a 15 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency

Situated just over 2 hours from Perth within the Wheatbelt region, Miling Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School that caters for children from Kindergarten to Year Six (K-6). The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic educator to join our team, ideally to teach a multi-age upper primary class. This role is well suited for both recent graduates and experienced Primary teachers who are highly motivated, energetic, and ready to engage with students from diverse backgrounds in a rural setting.

The successful applicant should possess a solid capacity to plan challenging and engaging programs tailored specifically for a multi-age classroom. An excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum is essential, along with experience in evidence-based programs. In particular, familiarity with the effective use of daily reviews in literacy and numeracy will be highly regarded.

We value teachers who can create learning environments that are engaging, challenging, and responsive to the diverse needs of students in a multi-age setting. You should be able to identify and provide specific educational adjustments for students requiring additional support, and establish a safe, positive, and welcoming classroom atmosphere that upholds high expectations and encourages active student voice.
