As a Mobile Service Technician, you will manage your own day, attend customer sites, and keep critical equipment operating safely and efficiently.

You will report to the Service Manager and work closely with workshop teams, parts specialists, and customers across the Perth metro area.

Your work directly supports Motion’s goal of delivering reliable industrial solutions that keep Australian industries moving.

Key Duties:

- Perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of a range of equipment and machinery




- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems efficiently
- Collaborate with customers to understand equipment issues and provide professional service solutions
- Maintain accurate service reports and documentation in line with company standards
- Adhere to safety protocols and always promote a safe working setting
- Manage parts inventory and coordinate with workshops as required

Qualifications & Skills:

- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience in mobile plant or heavy equipment servicing
- Robust mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills
- Proven experience working as a mobile technician in a field service environment
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Current driver’s license; heavy vehicle license and forklift ticket advantageous
- Willingness to travel within the Perth metro area and surrounding regions
