- Casual Role: DIDO outage, located at Kogan Creek Power Station in Brigalow, QLD
- Project Dates: Start date from mid- August, running approximatively till mid-September
- Roster: Monday to Saturday | Day & Night shifts | 11-hour shifts
- Competitive Rate: Competitive EBA rates + 25% casual loading + overtime penalties (from base rate) + site allowances
- Other Benefits: LAFHA or Accommodation is provided to distant workers

The Prospect

Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking casual Mechanical Fitters to support outage services at Kogan Creek Power Station in Brigalow, QLD, commencing mid-August 2026, delivering comprehensive inspection, maintenance, overhaul, and repair of rotating and static plant equipment across boiler, turbine, and balance of plant systems throughout the outage period.

About You

- Site Proficient: Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sector
- Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
- Workplace Safety: Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues

Qualifications

- Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 2 years), Construction white card

- Trade Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
