The Opportunity
Our highly agile team of asset management professionals require another quality problem solver to join our ranks! We are looking for an experienced asset management consultant with proven Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) engineering experience to join our high-performing and collaborative team. This role will be based in Adelaide.
- Develop and manage RAM requirements, performance measures, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct reliability prediction, reliability allocation, availability, and maintainability
- Develop RAM models and quantitative assessments across the system lifecycle.
- Conduct and facilitate RCM, FMEA, FMECA, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Bow Tie Analysis and other reliability studies.
In this exciting role you will work directly with clients to lead and manage a variety of compelling projects in collaboration with our talented team which will enable you to apply your asset management, advisory and consultancy skills to a range of different clients and markets.
You will be up for the challenge and in for the journey to play a key role in contributing to the growth of our Asset Management Capability through excellent project delivery and client management. You will provide specialist RAM engineering capability across the asset, system and platform lifecycle and be responsible for applying RAM engineering principles and analyses to enhance safety, supportability, operational readiness, asset performance, and whole-of-life outcomes.
You will also work closely with Systems Engineering, Asset Management, Safety, Verification & Validation (V&V;), Operations, Maintenance and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Integrated Product Support (IPS) teams to ensure RAM considerations are effectively integrated throughout the lifecycle.
The role also contributes to the development and growth of Beca's RAM, Lifecycle Engineering and Supportability capability, recognising RAM as a specialist engineering discipline and a key enabler of effective sustainment and support solutions.

About You
To be successful in the role, you would be able to demonstrate asset management experience across one or more of the following sectors: Government, Defence, Industrial and Utilities markets across Australia and have an in-depth understanding of Asset Management and/or reliability engineering principles and their application.
Required experience and capabilities:
- Developed understanding of RAM engineering principles and their application to complex systems.
- Experience developing, applying, and interpreting quantitative RAM analyses and models, including using specialist RAM software.
- Experience with failure analysis (FMEA, FMECA and other similar methods), reliability prediction, allocation, maintainability, and availability analyses.
- Experience working within systems engineering, asset management or lifecycle engineering environments.
- A passion and capability in building new client stakeholder relationships and enhancing existing relationships.
- Ability to contribute to solutions in areas such as asset management strategies, performance improvement, system design and asset condition assessments.
- Ability to support some national travel for short duration (2-5 days) on occasion
- An appropriate tertiary qualification aligned to asset management or other related disciplines.
