Join Our Team Chef - Full Time Royal Rasoi Indian Restaurant is a well-established Indian restaurant in East Victoria Park, renowned for serving authentic North Indian cuisine.
We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Chef to join our growing kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities- Chef Plan, prepare and cook a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialties.
Develop and update menus in consultation with management.
Maintain consistency in food quality, taste and presentation.
Supervise kitchen staff and allocate daily duties.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
Monitor food preparation and cooking techniques to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Estimate food requirements and control food costs.
Order food supplies and liaise with suppliers.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.




Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen.
Assist in creating seasonal and promotional menus.
Essential Requirements Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
Minimum one Year relevant experience as a Chef.
Robust knowledge of authentic Indian cuisine.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
Robust understanding of food safety standards.

Salary between $80,000 and $85,000 plus superannuation .
