Job Description
We're partnering with a growing insurance business in Sydney's CBD who are looking for an experienced Claims Manager to lead a team of Claims Officers and take ownership of the claims function.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have a robust influence across claims performance, customer outcomes, team development and process improvement.

The Role

Lead, coach and develop a team of Claims Officers
n
Oversee complex, high-risk and escalated claims
n
Monitor claims quality, KPIs, SLAs and performance
n
Drive improvements across claims processes and customer experience
n
Oversee recoveries and subrogation
n
Manage relationships with loss adjusters, investigators, repairers and legal providers
n




Handle customer escalations and support claims governance and compliance
n
n
We're looking for someone with:
n
n
5+ years' claims leadership experience
n
Commercial Property & Casualty / General Insurance experience
n
Proven people leadership and coaching skills
n
Strong technical claims and regulatory knowledge
n
Experience managing complex claims and external service providers
n
Solid communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
n
