Job Description
n
- Experience estimating transmission or utility electrical infrastructure projects
n
- Proven exposure to HV substations from 132kV to 500kV preferred
n
- Strong knowledge of transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear and HV systems
n
- Understanding of protection, control, SCADA and communications systems
n
- Ability to interpret electrical and civil design documentation
n
- Strong commercial awareness and contract understanding
n
- Electrical Engineering qualification, trade background or equivalent experience.
n
n
A successful Electrical Estimator should have:
n
n
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
n
- Experience in estimating within the construction industry, particularly in the energy and natural resources sector.
n
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for preparing accurate cost estimates.
n
- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools.
n
- Knowledge of Australian construction standards and electrical regulations.
n
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
n
- Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
n
