Job Description

- Lead the design and delivery of applied AI solutions within Institutional Banking
n
- Lead AI initiatives end to end, from problem definition and experimentation through production deployment and ongoing performance monitoring
n
- Set technical direction while remaining hands‐on with tools
n
- Translate commercial and markets problems into scalable machine learning and agentic AI solutions
n
- Establish modelling, validation, governance and monitoring practices for risk and model performance requirements
n
- Partner with business, engineering, risk, governance teams and external technology partners
n
- Develop data scientists and graduates through coaching, mentoring and technical leadership
n
- Integrate AI delivery, engineering practice and business processes
n
- Influence senior stakeholders by connecting technical decisions to commercial value, P&L; and strategic outcomes
n
- Design commercially viable delivery patterns
n
- Apply model-risk judgement, including data quality, explainability, validation, drift monitoring and accountability for model outcomes
n

Requirements

n

n
- Deep technical expertise combined with leadership and commercial judgement in a complex business environment
n
- Experience delivering multiple AI or machine learning solutions from inception through production and monitoring
n
- Ideally, current or prior experience in financial markets, quantitative finance, forecasting, derivative pricing, trading or institutional banking
n




- Strong hands‐on expertise in machine learning, generative AI or agentic AI
n
- Programming skills such as Python and SQL
n
- Ability to design scalable, maintainable and observable solutions aligned with risk and governance requirements
n
- Experience leading technical teams, projects or capability uplift initiatives while contributing directly to delivery
n
- Ability to partner effectively with engineers, architects, product partners, business leaders and risk specialists
n
