We are seekingmotivated, safety-focused Mobile Plant Operatorsto join our team supporting the maintenance of vital access roads along a major rail corridor in the Pilbara.
n Based inKarratha/Dampier, this residential opportunity offers the chance to work across critical infrastructure projects while operating a range of heavy mobile plant. You'll play an important role in keeping access roads safe, reliable and operational for the movement of people, equipment and resources.

About the Role

n

As aMobile Plant Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining and rehabilitating access roads throughout the rail corridor, ensuring they remain safe and suitable for daily operations.

n

You will work across multiple sites and operate a range of heavy machinery, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance.

n

You will ideally have experience operating:

n

- CAT Graders
n
- Rollers
n
- Watercarts
n
- Loaders
n
- Heavy Combination (HC) Trucks
n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy mobile plant and equipment
n
- Maintain and rehabilitate access roads and haul roads
n
- Operate machinery across multiple project sites
n




- Float and relocate equipment between sites as requiredComplete daily pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks
n
- Identify and report equipment faults and maintenance requirements
n
- Work closely with supervisors and other team members to achieve project outcomes
n
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and equipment care
n
- Follow all site safety procedures, environmental requirements and operational standards
n

About You

n

We're looking for experienced operators with a strong background incivil, construction, mining or infrastructure environments.

n

n
- Minimum2 years' experience operating heavy machinery
n
- Current driver's licence and relevant plant operating competencies
n
- HR or HC licence highly desirable
n
- Previous experience maintaining access roads or haul roads is advantageous
n
- Experience in civil, mining, rail or remote infrastructure environments
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Good communication and teamwork skills
n
- Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
n
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
- Ability to work a residential 8:6 roster in Karratha/Dampier
n
- Flexibility to travel between sites and relocate equipment when required
n
