Manhattan WMS Consultant / Retail Warehousing & Supply Chain Specialist (12+
Years Experience)
Position: Senior Manhattan WMS Consultant / Supply Chain & Warehouse Operations
Lead
Professional Summary
Highly experienced Retail Warehousing and Supply Chain skilled with 12+ years of
experience in designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing Warehouse
Management Systems (WMS), with extensive expertise in Manhattan WMS. Proven track
record of delivering large-scale warehouse transformation programs, distribution center
optimization, inventory management, automation integration, and end-to-end supply
chain solutions within retail and omnichannel environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the implementation, upgrade, configuration, and support of Manhattan
WMS solutions across multiple distribution centers.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into warehouse management
system designs and functional specifications.
• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, put-away,
replenishment, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, warehouse managers, supply chain
teams, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to improve operational efficiency.
• Drive warehouse process optimization initiatives to reduce operational costs and
improve service levels.
• Support system integration between Manhattan WMS, ERP platforms (SAP,
Oracle, JDA, Blue Yonder), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and
automation solutions.
• Lead testing activities including SIT, UAT, integration testing, and production
deployment.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs such as Inventory Accuracy, Order Fill Rate, On-Time
Delivery, Productivity, and Cycle Time.




• Provide production support and resolve critical warehouse operational issues
within defined SLAs.
• Facilitate user training, change management, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Manage offshore/onshore teams and coordinate with vendors, business users,
and technical teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and industry
best practices.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, or related
field.
• Manhattan WMS Certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt (preferred).
• Experience with retail, eCommerce, omnichannel, and distribution center
operations.
