About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Data Lead to join our national People Systems, Data & Performance team on a full-time maximum-term contract.
This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in one of SVHA's largest workforce and payroll transformation programs. As the subject matter expert for workforce, payroll and reporting data, you will provide leadership across the design, integration, migration and expansion of the UKG Pro and Frontier iChris ecosystem.
Working at the intersection of people, technology, payroll, finance and analytics, you will ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy and seamless integration across multiple systems and business units. You will partner with stakeholders across the organisation and external vendors to support successful implementation, testing, deployment and ongoing optimisation of workforce systems. This role can be based in Sydney, or Brisbane with versatile hybrid working arrangements available.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead data governance, migration, reconciliation and validation activities across workforce, payroll and finance systems.
- Act as the subject matter expert for workforce and payroll data, supporting the expansion of the UKG Pro and Frontier iChris setting.
- Translate business requirements into data models, mappings, calculations, reporting specifications and integration requirements.
- Define and maintain data definitions, transformation logic,
reference codes and reporting standards to ensure consistency across the organisation.
- Analyse and document end-to-end data flows between workforce management, payroll, finance and enterprise systems.
- Partner with People & Culture, Payroll, Finance, Data & Analytics and Digital & Technology teams to deliver reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with external vendors including UKG, Frontier and implementation partners to deliver data solutions, integrations and reporting outcomes.
- Lead stakeholder workshops, UAT support and business consultation activities to ensure successful adoption and delivery.
- Identify data quality, governance and process improvement opportunities and drive practical solutions.
- Manage project dependencies, risks, timelines and escalations across multiple workstreams.
- Develop reusable reporting tools, templates and artefacts to support efficient project delivery and ongoing operational support.
- Support capability uplift and knowledge transfer across internal teams.

You are an experienced data professional with a strong background in workforce, payroll and enterprise systems. You have a proven ability to bridge business and technical teams, translating complex requirements into practical solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
