Summary:

The Wait Staff is responsible for providing customers with a friendly, professional, and efficient dining experience. They greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, handle complaints, and maintain a clean and welcoming setting.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests and seat them at appropriate tables
- Take orders for food and drinks and relay them to the kitchen or bar
- Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
- Serve food and drinks to guests
- Operate the point-of-sale system to process orders and payments
- Clean tables and reset them for guests
- Handle complaints and resolve issues related to food, service, or ambiance
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items and specials

Qualifications:

- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and tip calculations
