The Opportunity
The Newstead Residences creates a luxury and vibrant retirement lifestyle in the inner-city suburb of Newstead. The Newstead offers extensive luxury facilities and outdoor areas for residents to enjoy including cinema rooms, day spas and virtual golf rooms. As a Domestic Attendant, you will provide essential housekeeping and cleaning services across the village while delivering a welcoming and customer-focused experience for residents. You’ll be part of a friendly, people-focused team where you will have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with residents.
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday (9:00am-5:00pm)
Your Impact
Maintain high-quality cleaning standards across apartments or village common areas, including bathrooms, hallways, stairwells and rooms
Build positive relationships as a friendly and approachable presence at the village
Assist residents and the community with general ad-hoc tasks as required
Follow all OH&S; requirements and promptly report any safety or security concerns
What you'll bring
Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, laundry or similar service-focused roles
A positive, respectful and people‑focused approach, with a robust commitment to providing a supportive experience for residents
The ability to work confidently and independently while managing daily tasks and priorities
Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations (required)
