Conditions: Work is within a multi-disciplinary team delivering clinical and public health services to the residents of the Gunbalanya community and surrounding outstations. Clinical support is provided by the Care Flight & District Medical Service via telephone consultations and medical retrievals. Royal Darwin Hospital is the regional hospital and provides tertiary care. Clinic hours are from 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. On call is provided by RN's and Aboriginal Health Practitioners.



A state police check & NT WWCC will be required along with immunisation evidence. The service uses PCIS, training given prior to locum if not used before. This is an chance to work within a dedicated team to advance the health outcomes of the Aboriginal community in West Arnhem region. Located in West Arnhem Land near Kakadu National Park, it provides access to some of Australia’s most significant Indigenous art sites, dramatic escarpments, and wetlands. Travel, car and accommodation is provided.

Credentials: FRACGP or VR Status. ALS, NCRC and NT WWCC check required.
