We are currently recruiting for Glass Processing Operators to join an established glass manufacturing business based South of the River.

This is a great opportunity for experienced candidates looking for consistent factory-based work, with both full-time and casual options available.

We're ideally looking for trade-qualified candidates, however apprentices and candidates with relevant glass processing or manufacturing experience are also encouraged to apply.

What's On Offer

- Permanent: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience
n
- Casual: $37.50–$43.75 per hour, depending on experience
n
- Additional afternoon/night shift loading
n
- Day shift positions available

About the Role

n

Working within a busy glass manufacturing environment, your responsibilities may include:

n

n
- Operating glass processing machinery and equipment
n
- Processing and preparing glass to required specifications
n
- Cutting, edging, polishing and finishing glass
n
- Measuring and checking glass for accuracy and quality
n
- Handling and moving glass safely
n
- Preparing glass for further production or installation
n




- Quality checking finished products
n
- Following production requirements and specifications
n
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
n
- Working as part of a production team
n

About You

n

We're looking for candidates with:

n

n
- Previous glass processing, glass manufacturing or glazing experience
n
- Experience operating glass processing machinery will be highly regarded
n
- Trade qualification preferred
n
- Apprentices currently completing a glazing trade qualification are encouraged to apply
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Valuable practical and mechanical ability
n
- Ability to safely handle glass
n
- Ability to work from measurements and specifications
n
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
n
- Reliable and willing to work as part of a team
n
