Student and Academic Administration Officer

Base salary will be in the range$85,451 - $94,983 + 17% super (HEWLevel5)

As a Student and Academic Administration Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, responsive administrative services while acting as a trusted point of contact for students and staff. This is a dynamic and varied role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and is motivated by creating positive experiences through accurate, efficient and student-centred service delivery.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver timely, accurate advice and support to students and staff in line with University policies, procedures and legislation
- Process a broad range of requests, draft and complete documentation for students and graduates pursuing international certification and residency opportunities.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and currency of information published across University systems, websites, and official materials, including study guides, faculty webpages, and student-facing resources.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing processes, maintaining data accuracy and supporting system and workflow enhancements
About You
- An undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience and training
- Demonstrated experience or the ability to quickly develop knowledge in student and academic administration processes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and manage competing demands
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in written and administrative work
- Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and take initiative
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with a solid customer service focus
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across broader organisational units
- Experience working in a tertiary education or large, complex organisation, and familiarity with systems such as SI-net or CRM platforms will be highly regarded
