At St Vincent's, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As Australia's largest not-for-profit health and aged care provider, we are committed to delivering exceptional, compassionate care and improving health outcomes for communities across New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.

Guided by our values of Compassion, Justice, Integrity and Excellence, more than 30,000 employees come together each day to make a genuine difference. When you join St Vincent's, you'll become part of a purpose-driven organisation dedicated to shaping a better and fairer health and aged care system for all.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Product Lead to help shape and deliver the next phase of the Medicare Mental Health Check In (MMHCI) Program within St Vincent's Care at Home.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the evolution of a digitally enabled model of mental health care, improving how people access, engage with and experience support. You'll develop the product strategy and roadmap, using consumer, clinician, service, policy and commercial insights to drive measurable improvements in access, demand, clinical value and operational performance.

This is an end-to-end product leadership role extending beyond the technology platform. You'll work across service design, digital experience, clinical models, operations, partnerships, data and go-to-market activities to ensure MMHCI responds to priority consumer and system needs.

This is a full-time, 24-month initial term opportunity based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

What You'll Do

- Own and evolve the product vision, strategy and value proposition for the next phase of MMHCI
- Translate strategic priorities into a clear, evidence-based product roadmap with defined outcomes and measures of success

- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from hypothesis and business case through design, build, launch, adoption and optimisation
- Use consumer, clinician and stakeholder insights to improve awareness, access, onboarding, engagement, treatment outcomes and continuity of care
- Lead continuous discovery with help seekers, carers, practitioners and healthcare professionals, including underserved and priority populations
- Partner with clinical, operational, technology and design teams to define problems and deliver effective solutions
- Work with Growth and Communications to strengthen market propositions, referral pathways, launch plans and adoption
- Lead product governance and prioritisation, balancing competing opportunities, dependencies and investment decisions
- Build an integrated view of product performance across consumer, clinical, operational, financial and digital measures
- Coordinate relevant TGA regulatory pathways for functionality that is, or may be, regulated as Software as a Medical Device
- Ensure product decisions meet clinical safety, privacy, cyber security, accessibility, quality, regulatory and contractual requirements

About You

An experienced product management or service design professional who thrives in complex environments and is motivated by creating services that deliver genuine impact.

You combine strategic thinking with strong delivery capability and can turn complex consumer, clinical,

operational and policy insights into explicit priorities and practical action.

You're comfortable bringing together multidisciplinary teams, navigating competing perspectives and creating clarity and momentum across a diverse stakeholder environment.

You'll also bring a strong customer and consumer mindset, with the ability to use evidence and insight to continuously improve products, services and experiences.

Key Experience & Capability

- Proven experience in innovative product management or service design, ideally within healthcare
- Demonstrated ability to improve consumer experience, streamline processes and drive service excellence
- Strong ability to translate patient and customer insights into actionable product strategies
- Demonstrated analytical and research skills, with the ability to turn complex data and policy into operational outcomes

- Strong self-motivation, initiative and adaptability in changing environments
- Excellent written, verbal, digital communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conceptualise and clearly articulate solutions
- Tertiary qualifications in business, health administration or a related field
- Experience within not-for-profit, social enterprise or health sector organisations, together with an understanding of emerging trends across health and technology, will be highly regarded.
