- 50% loading on a Saturday

You Will Work The Following 4 Week Rotating Roster
n
Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday - 5:54am - 2:00pm
n
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday - 5:54am - 2:00pm
n
Week 3: Monday Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday - 5:54am - 2:00pm
n
Week 4: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday - 5:54am - 2:00pm

Responsibilities
n
As an Environmental Attendant, you'll play an essential role in ensuring the hospital maintains a safe, hygienic, and compliant environment. Reporting to the Team Leader – Environmental, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Collecting and distributing clean and soiled waste bins across hospital departments
n
- Safely handling, emptying, washing, and recording various waste streams
n
- Supporting waste minimisation and recycling initiatives
n
- Operating bin washing and waste management equipment in line with safety procedures
n
- Liaising with subcontractors to coordinate waste management services
n
- Assisting staff and stakeholders in a professional, customer-focused manner
n
n

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Have
n
n
- Experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or customer-focused setting (desirable)
n
- An understanding of safe waste handling or willingness to learn
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
n
- Good communication skills with a focus on service and safety
n
- Willingness to meet health, safety, and vaccination requirements for hospital work
n
