Full Time Cleaning Supervisor (3:00PM - 10:36PM) - Melbourne CBD

Base rate: $33.87 per hours + Leading hand allowance

We are providing our services to premium commercial facilities in the CBD and are currently seeking hardworking , reliable and friendly team members with strong communication and supervisory skills to join our team at600 Bourke Street.

The position

- Full Time Cleaning Supervisor
- Monday to Friday 3:00PM - 10:36PM (38 hours per week)

As a member our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within each residential home , ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and other workers .

Requirements

You will need to provide proof of the below compliance documentation as part of the recruitment process :

- A valid Police Check
- Full time working rights
- Experience as Supervisor

As the Supervisoryou will be responsible for coordinating the work of Grade 1 Cleaners on site, being the first point of contact with our client and ensuring a high-quality service is delivered for them. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Supervise and support the cleaning team.
- Allocate daily tasks and follow up on incomplete work.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify areas requiring attention.
- Maintain required cleaning standards across all site areas.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, presentation and performance.
- Report attendance, leave and performance issues to the Client Service Manager.
- Provide training, coaching and guidance to cleaners.
- Ensure compliance with site procedures,



cleaning schedules and WHS requirements.
- Communicate professionally with clients, building management and stakeholders.
- Respond to client requests and operational issues promptly.
- Report incidents, hazards, damage, maintenance and equipment issues.
- Monitor cleaning equipment, chemicals and consumables.
- Assist with staff coverage and operational requirements.
- Keep cleaning rooms, storage and staff areas clean and organised.
- Assist with periodic cleaning and additional works as required.
- Support new procedures, technology, training and operational improvements.
- Complete required checklists, inspections and reports.
- Follow up on issues through to resolution.
- Previous experience as a Cleaning Supervisor, Team Leader or similar role.
- Experience leading a team of cleaners, preferably in a commercial environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, organised and a strong team player.
- Able to manage staff performance and attendance issues.
- Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
- Proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Able to work independently and make decisions.
- Professional and respectful when dealing with clients and building management.
- Basic computer and technology skills.
- Good understanding of WHS and protected cleaning practices.
