About The Role

To assist the Gluing operator to achieve high quality results in the conversion of printed and cut finished cartons. The role will support the day-to-day delivery of production on the line in either feeding, packing or palletizing.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Assist Operator with the setup of the machine to the standard required in preparation for the conversion or embellishment (make ready)
n
- Assess product for meeting quality standards, undertake quality checks
n
- Assist the Operator with the gluing machine to ensure quality and productivity requirements are met
n
- Conduct routine maintenance with the operator in accordance with the Daily Equipment Care checklist
n




- Review workload with the operator to ensure all preparation work is managed in a timely manner to ensure continuous running of the machine
n
- Responsible for housekeeping within department in accordance with GMP Policy and Audits.
n
- Assist in cross training other staff where applicable
n
- Coordinate and liaise with operator to ensure jobs are prepped
n

Qualification

n

n
- 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing or warehousing workplace.
n
- Ability to read technical drawings (Knife/Glue Line)
n
- Understand basic machine function
n
- Understand 'pre make ready' process
n
- Knowledge of standards and process
n
- Ability to communicate effectively
