Work alongside senior leaders in a high-profile Ministerial Office.

Join the Office of the Minister for Child Protection in the Adelaide CBD as a Parliamentary and Cabinet Liaison Officer, where your organisation, attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines will support important ministerial and government priorities. Working with limited direction, you will manage time-sensitive information and coordinate critical parliamentary and cabinet support, with the opportunity to build your knowledge of parliamentary processes along the way.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re proactive, composed and enjoy being trusted with significant work.

You will be responsible for:

- Coordinating timely briefings, reports and papers for the Minister’s Office
- Supporting the Minister’s parliamentary responsibilities, including legislation, motions and Parliamentary Questions
- Reviewing, editing and lodging cabinet submissions and coordinating responses across the portfolio
- Building strong working relationships across government to support the smooth progression of legislation
- Managing Parliament and Cabinet enquiries, ensuring timely responses and escalation of urgent matters.

- Highly developed writing and editing skills, with meticulous attention to detail and presentation
- Sound judgement, discretion and diplomacy when managing sensitive and politically significant matters
- Demonstrated ability to operate with autonomy, navigate competing priorities and deliver under pressure




- Strong analytical and research capability, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
