SmartWatch is the City of Rockingham’s vehicle security andcommunity safety patrol service. The position requires a highlymotivated and experienced individual, who has the ability to build,foster, and network relationships with law enforcement agencies,whilst having a strong passion for customer service.

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring a highvisibility vehicle patrol presence to reduce risk and ensure safetyto the Rockingham community. Officers are required to report onsuspicious behaviour and advise relevant authoritiesaccordingly.

This role involves lone working and being unsupervised for alarge majority of your shift, and requires Officers to demonstratea high level of attention to detail at all times. The ability toremain focussed when working independently and vigilant throughoutthe entirety of your shift is imperative.

To be considered for this role, you must address thefollowing selection criteria as part of your onlineapplication:





- Previous experience in Security related work and a SecurityOfficers licence issued under the Security and RelatedActivities (Control) Act 1996 (WA)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able toengage constructively with community members and providecommunity safety information
- Effective written communication skills, including theability to produce accurate, concise and clear reports
- Sound judgment and decision making skills
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate

We are offering a gross salary of $77,854 perannum and:

- 12% superannuation with the opportunity to co-contribute upto 5%
