This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified HVAC, mechanical, electrical or building services skilled looking to build a long-term career in the rapidly growing data centre sector.

The Role

n

Reporting to the Facility Engineer, you'll support the operation, maintenance and performance of critical data centre infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime, safety and operational excellence.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Monitor, operate and maintain critical infrastructure systems.
n
- Perform scheduled plant inspections and minor maintenance works.
n
- Coordinate contractors, vendors and maintenance providers.
n
- Manage work orders, permits and contractor inductions.
n
- Support incident response, troubleshooting and fault investigations.
n
- Assist with projects, commissioning activities and infrastructure handovers.
n
- Maintain asset records, critical spares and maintenance documentation.
n
- Ensure compliance with WHS, security, quality and operational procedures.
n
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
n

- Building Management Systems (BMS)

- Security and access control systems

About You

n

n
- Trade qualification in Mechanical, HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical or Building Services.
n
- Experience within building services, facilities management, industrial or critical environments.
n
- Strong HVAC and mechanical knowledge.
n
- Exposure to electrical infrastructure is advantageous.
n
- Previous shift-work experience preferred.
n
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
n
- Comfortable working in a process-driven operational environment.
n

Desirable

n

n
- Data centre or critical facilities experience.
n
- BMS and CMMS exposure.
n
- Fire systems knowledge.
n
- Asset management and preventative maintenance experience.
n
- First Aid qualification.
n
- Eligible and willing to obtain NV1 Security Clearance.
n

Roster

n

n
- 4 days on, 4 days off.
n
- 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts.
n
- Includes weekends and public holidays.
n
- Future on-call participation may be required.
n
