Join our Aggregate Risk & Prudential division and become part of our Credit and Capital team. The team plays a key role in providing bank-wide insights into our credit and capital prudential obligations, helping Macquarie understand and assess our credit and capital regulatory requirements and manage the relationship with the banking regulator.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Analyst, you will work closely with businesses to review and advise on regulatory considerations for credit risk and capital. You will provide insight and risk assessment to support strategic decision-making and prudential risk management for stakeholders from the business as well as credit risk, treasury, and reporting teams.

You will support business stakeholders to manage engagements with the banking regulator, including reviews and information requests. In addition, you will monitor regulatory developments and industry practices, and help maintain policies, reporting, and documentation that support ongoing compliance.

Your Role Will Include

- Contributing to key discussions with our business teams,
- Reviewing and advising on the regulatory aspects of new transactions,
- Providing support on APRA engagements including both regular liaisons and ad-hoc engagements, and
- Maintaining key policies and processes related to the ongoing prudential compliance of our businesses.





This role directly impacts on the strategic decision-making of our businesses and offers the opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders in Australia and beyond.

What You Offer

- 2+ year’s experience in a corporate environment, ideally within the financial services or other regulated industry or a qualified services firm.
- Good knowledge of the Australian financial sector, with a particular focus on regulated activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to distil complex issues into clear and concise reports.
- Good attention to detail and a curious mindset.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
