WEmpower, in partnership with Healthii People, is looking for an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join their growing Allied Health team in the Port Macquarie / Coffs Harbour region on a full-time basis.

What you'll be doing:

n

n
- Completing Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) and preparing high-quality NDIS reports
n
- Conducting Assistive Technology assessments, equipment trials and prescription
n




- Completing Home Modification assessments (minor and complex, within scope)
n
- Delivering individual OT intervention to children, adolescents and adults
n
- Developing individualised therapy plans with measurable, functional goals
n
- Supporting sensory, emotional regulation, executive functioning, fine motor, gross motor and daily living skills
n
- Facilitating group therapy programs, including school holiday programs
n
- Delivering parent, caregiver and support-worker education and training
n
- Liaising with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, schools and other allied health professionals
n
- Contributing to multidisciplinary case conferences and service development initiatives
n

About You:

n

n
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
n
- Current AHPRA registration
n
- Previous NDIS experience
n
- Current Working with Children Check and relevant disability-sector screening
n
- Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
n
- Strong clinical reasoning and report-writing skills
n
- Ability to independently manage a varied caseload
n
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
n
