At Adventure World, you will lead the finance function for one of Western Australia's most distinctive visitor attractions. Reporting directly to the CEO and contributing as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will turn financial and operational information into the insight needed to make better commercial decisions.

The Finance Manager plays a central role in assisting the business to plan confidently, respond quickly and maintain strong financial control throughout the year.

n

You will lead theorganisation'sfinancial reporting, planning, forecasting, cash-flow management and governance.

n

Just as importantly, you will partner with the CEO and operational leaders to understand business performance, identify opportunities and support informed decision-making.

n

This is not a finance role operating at arm's length from the business. You will work closely with leaders across theorganisation.

What you will lead

n

n




- Provide clear commercial and financial advice to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team;
n
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning and performance analysis;
n
- Deliver meaningful reporting that explains performance and opportunities;
n
- Maintain strong financial governance, control and statutory compliance;
n
- Oversee accurate month-end and year-end reporting;
n
- Maintain balance-sheet integrity and coordinate internal and external audit activity;
n
- Partner with business leaders to improve financial understanding and accountability;
n
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting and administrative processes;
n
- Oversee finance-related payroll and workforce management responsibilities;
n
- Oversee accounts payable; and
n
- Contribute to strategic and operational initiatives across the business

About You
n We are looking for a finance professional who can combine accounting knowledge, commercial awareness and leadership with an internal-service approach. The role requires someone who can work autonomously, communicate with non-finance leaders and maintain financial controls while supporting operational requirements.
n To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Strong experience in B2C,



transactional and operational environments.
n
- A proactive, self-directed working style that is hands-on when it needs to be;
n
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
n
- Experience leading or developing a finance team.
n
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
n
- Experience with Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools.
n
- Experience with workforce management software.
n
- Experience improving or automating administrative processes.
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
n
- The ability to establish and meet deadlines.
n
- Confidence communicating and constructively challenging stakeholders.
n
- The ability to remain calm during peak periods, month-end and trading anomalies.
n
- CPA or CA qualification, or be working towards one.
n
