Aquinas College wishes to appoint a dynamic, forward- thinking and suitably qualified Laboratory Manager to our Science Learning Area team, commencing in Term 4 2026 (or as soon as possible). This will initially be a fixed term contract with the chance for ongoing.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the day to day operation of our Science laboratories, including the supervision and organisation of laboratory staff and equipment/ assets to ensure operations are complementary to a vibrant teaching and learning environment.

The successful candidate will have:
n
n
- a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
n
- relevant post-secondary qualifications and a minimum of 5 years laboratory experience
n
- experience in leading or supervising a team
n
- a strong interest in supporting students' learning
n
- a working knowledge of current OH&S; legislation
n
- the ability to work independently and as a leader of a team
n
- the ability to prioritise and organise tasks
n
- current WWCC and Victorian Police Check (or prepared to obtain them)
n
- relevant permissions to work in Australia
n
n
The successful applicant will be appointed following a salary assessment according to theCatholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement (CEMEA) 2022.
