About the role
For those interested in immersing themselves in a professional and aspirational environment that supports your success and ongoing learning and development, we welcome applications for apermanent, full-time Commerce Teacher in Years 10 – 12 commencing in 2027.
Applicants must have a positive attitude and a proven record of excellence in teaching that incorporates evidenced-based practice in an engaging and supportive manner. Teachers at Geelong Grammar School are required to be actively involved in our pastoral care and co-curricular programmes.

What you will be doing
- Supporting the collaborative designoftheYears 10–12 curriculum across Commerce
- Contributing to co-curricular programs and broader initiativesacross theSchool’scampuses
- Participating in professional learning, reflectivepracticeand continuous improvement activities
- Undertakingadministrative,organisationaland supervisory requirements
- Enablingstudent wellbeing through pastoral care, relationshipbuildingand activeengagement with families
- Other duties asrequiredcommensuratewith your teaching role
What we are looking for
- An experienced educator with a solid teaching backgroundin senior years
- The ability to teach a combination of VCE Accounting, Business Management, Legal Studies and/or Economics
- Passionate about contemporary pedagogy and adolescent development
- Strong curriculum design and planning skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students, parents,staffand external stakeholders
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with the capacity to work across faculties and with external partners
- Strong organisational and planning skills, withexcellentattention to detail
