About the role
n
Provide advanced nursing care for a designated patient population, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, with a focus on patients with complex healthcare needs.
n
Practise autonomously and provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and other non-registered nursing personnel to ensure the delivery of protected, high-quality patient care.
n
Contribute to service improvement through quality activities, clinical audits, education and the application of evidence-based practice, while ensuring compliance with professional standards, policies and legislative requirements.
n
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teams, lead ward or unit activities, manage portfolio responsibilities and assume professional leadership responsibilities in the absence of senior nursing staff.

About you
n
You are a Registered Nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
via AHPRA and ideally hold or are committed to completing a relevant postgraduate qualification.
n
You demonstrate strong clinical leadership skills and the ability to support, mentor and develop nursing staff while contributing positively to professional nursing practice with confidence and integrity.
n
You have advanced clinical assessment, problem-solving and care coordination skills, with the ability to plan, implement and evaluate person-centred care within a complex healthcare workplace. You possess highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective relationships and collaborate with colleagues, patients, families and key stakeholders.

What we offer

Total remuneration value of up to $139,931 p.a. is comprised of:

- An hourly rate between $57.76 - $61.85 p.h.
